1. Data Storage

corscientia does not run a separate user database outside its Firebase-backed services. Account and app operation data is handled through Firebase services, and payment processing is handled by Stripe.

2. Account Data

When you create an account or sign in, Firebase Authentication handles your email address, password authentication, provider identifiers, Google sign-in details when used, and email verification state. corscientia does not see or store your password.

3. Subscription Data

Stripe handles checkout, payment methods, invoices, cancellations, and billing portal access. corscientia stores only the Firebase account link and subscription status needed to unlock subscriber sections. Full card details are not stored by corscientia.

4. App Data

Firebase may store the account, subscription, access, and learning activity records needed for signed-in features such as protected labs, sprint attempts, progress, and account state. Local browser storage may store theme settings, session hints, and local progress state.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

The site uses a Firebase session cookie for signed-in access and browser storage for app state. These are used for authentication, access control, preferences, and returning you to the correct page after account actions.

6. Use of Data

• Authenticate accounts and verify email addresses.
• Keep subscriber access in sync with Stripe subscription status.
• Protect paid sections and prevent misuse.
• Operate learning, sprint, progress, and account features.

7. Sharing

Data is shared only with the service providers needed to run the site, including Firebase/Google Cloud and Stripe. corscientia does not sell user data.

8. Retention and Deletion

Account and app records are kept while needed to provide the service, maintain subscriptions, meet security needs, or satisfy legal obligations. You can request account deletion or data questions by email.
